Doron’s 550LE Driving Simulator To Train Newark City Police Officers
(ContentDesk) March 1, 2006 -- Doron Precision Systems, Inc. announced today the delivery, installation of a one-place 550LE driving simulation system to the City of Newarks Police Department, New Jersey.
The department plans to use driving simulation in conjunction with firearms training at its Firearms Training Facility.Police Director Anthony Ambrose called the driving simulator, An extremely beneficial and potentially life-saving training tool that provides a realistic training field in a risk-free environment. Our officers routinely travel through dense traffic en route to emergencies and this proactive training measure should reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. The City of Newark Police Office plans to include the simulator in a comprehensive training program for enhancing the driving skills of police officers. The 550LE provides a safe, lifelike driving environment for training on high-speed pursuits, on departmental policy and on avoiding collisions.
"Our recruits and officers obviously cannot practice high-speed chases on the streets of Newark. Yet sadly, they do happen, and our officers must train for them. By making use of modern technology, Newark's finest will be able to simulate and train for these incidents." Mayor (City of Newark) Sharpe James said in a statement. The 550LE is the latest in the LE series that marks Dorons continuous commitment towards helping law enforcement agencies train officers for on-duty driving. Trainees experience actual driving situations through greater realism in graphics and increased levels of detail in the driving environment.
Multiple 550LE units can be linked to create multi-officer and co-ordinated emergency response training. Tuna Lunch Recipe: Low Carb
A friend of mine wanted to prepare lunch for me, and I had forbid her to use bread. I just didn't want the added carbohydrates. I prefer my carbohydrates to come from very low glycemic carbs, and not from high glycemic white bread. What she came up with was fabulous, and I have been eating this once a week for lunch ever since. I would like to share it with you.
Ingredients: 1 Large Seedless Cucumber 1 Can Tuna in Water (Drained) 1 teaspoon of Fat Free Miracle Whip 1 small red pepper chopped up
Take the Cucumber and cut it into four inch sections, take the sections and then cut them in half. Next, take the rounded bottom of the cucumber sections, and slice off a small amount so that it will sit flat on a plate (and not rock back and forth.) Mix together the Tuna and Fat Free Miracle Whip
Spread tuna on top of cucumber section and top it off with chopped red pepper

Pima Medical Institute in Chula Vista Hires Angie Dolfo
(ContentDesk) July 15, 2006 -- Pima Medical Institute, 780 Bay Blvd, Suite 101 in Chula Vista has added the position of Student Services Coordinator to their staff, and Angie Dolfo has been hired to assume that role.
The position is a new one for the Chula Vista career college and only added after a campus surpasses and sustains 550 students.Prior to joining PMI, Dolfo was Director of Human Resources for Sams Club/Wal-Mart Stores in San Diego where she was in charge of payroll, training, hiring, scheduling, as well as overseeing the interests of more than 200 employees.Dolfo received an AS degree in Airline Services Business Administration from Southwestern College in Chula Vista.
She is also a certified floral designer.
